When to Seek Prompt Medical Advice
An injured player should seek prompt medical advice at an Emergency Department (ED), hospital or after-hours medical centre if they have;
- a persistent headache
- been unconscious
- been vomiting or nauseated after a blow to the head
- a suspected concussion
- breathing difficulties after an injury to the head, neck or chest
- severe pains in their neck
- Abdominal pains (and pain around the tip of their shoulder)
- blood in their urine
- an eye injury
- collapsed after any trauma

- If there is any concern over a player’s injury or health following training or a match
